Refusal of Unauthorized Email Collection
Please note that the unauthorized collection of email addresses posted on this website using email collection programs or other technical devices is prohibited, and violations may be subject to criminal punishment under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
Relevant Laws and Regulations
Article 50-2 Prohibition of Unauthorized Collection of Email Addresses, etc.
- No one shall collect email addresses using programs or other technical devices that automatically collect email addresses without the prior consent of the operator or administrator of an internet website.
- No one shall sell or distribute email addresses collected in violation of the above provision.
- No one shall use email addresses for information transmission, knowing that such email addresses are prohibited from being collected, sold, or distributed under the above provision.
Article 74 Penalties
Any person who falls under any of the following subparagraphs shall be subject to a fine not exceeding KRW 10 million.
- A person who collects, sells, distributes, or uses email addresses for information transmission in violation of Article 50-2
- A person who transmits advertising information in violation of Article 50-8
- A person who violates other provisions, including Articles 8, 44-7, 50, and 53
